DAIMI Friday Lecture Series
On Friday, March 13, Thorbjörn Fritzon, Sun will talk about
Parallel: The Future of Programming
at 14:15 - 15:00 in The Large Auditorium at IT-Huset. There will be coffee and cake from 14:00. The talk will be in English.
Abstract:
The fact that multi-core processors is, at least, the near future of computing is something that few would argue with today. But what does that require from us, the programmers, and from the tools we use? Will we program the same way? Will we really write the fastest programs in C? How does Java relate to this? Python? Erlang?
