The Workshop on Massive Data Algorithmics will be held at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, and is organized by the Center for Massive Data Algorithmics (MADALGO).

Aim and Scope
The aim of the workshop on massive data algorithmcs is to provide a forum for researchers from both academia and industry interested in algorithms for massive dataset problems. The scope of the workshop includes both fundamental algorithmic problems involving massive data, as well as algorithms for more specialized problems in, e.g., graphics, databases, statistics and bioinformatics.

Participation
The workshop will take place on June 11 2009 in Aarhus, Denmark, immediately following the 25th Annual Symposium on Computational Geometry (SoCG). The workshop will be relatively informal and have no formal proceedings. However, if the workshop is successful, it is the plan to consider moving to a more formal symposium format. Thus all researchers interested in massive data algorithmics are encouraged to attend the workshop.
